Media Registration Process
Welcome to the EMS World Expo, the largest EMS dedicated event in the world, taking place October 4–8, 2021 at the Georgia World Conference Center in Atlanta, GA. The Expo is hosted by HMP, in partnership with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT).
As a member of the press, you will have the opportunity to interact with some of the world’s leading EMS professionals and educators regarding the latest technologies and current best practices in prehospital care. More than 6,000 attendees from 50+ countries will participate in this world-class event, spearheaded by more than 150 leaders in the field.
A press badge will be granted to journalists employed by recognized news organizations for the purpose of editorial coverage. Representatives from qualified media outlets must represent editorial staff.
Journalists are required to submit appropriate media credentials as part of their registration application including:
- Copy of a current press identification card or
- Business card from an established and recognized publication containing the editorial title, and a letter of assignment from the media organization being represented
- Freelance journalists are required to submit two related articles published within the last six months, or coverage from the previous year’s expo (if applicable), and a copy of the publication

Registered media are not eligible for continuing education credit.
Please note: Non-editorial personnel; exhibitors; and marketing, public relations, or advertising/sales representatives are not eligible for media credentials and do not have access to the press room. They must register through the EMS World Expo registration system and pay the Expo registration fee.
Media who have pre-registered may pick up their press credentials and media kit at the Main Registration Desk during normal registration hours.
