Need a certification for basic bleeding control? The ACS Bleeding Control program provides the knowledge and skills to stop life-threatening bleeding. While you will encounter patients with traumatic wounds in regular settings, the nation is also in an era of increasingly frequent mass shootings and terrorist attacks, making it critical for providers to know and practice the proper techniques for rapid intervention in bleeding control.
