8:00 AM-12:00 PM and 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
We have all had to modify our entire lives since 2020, especially longing for a return to normal. EMS and all of public safety have expanded their reach to deal with the realities of a global pandemic and unprecedented social unrest. Join us for our venture into the new normal. The classic “Active Shooter” and the threats associated with these events have morphed, and our training must reflect this.
Not only will we deliver new hands-on concepts and techniques to meet the current state of act of violence events and social unrest scenarios, but we will also delve into the psychology and physiology of our own response to these events. The well-being of EMS providers who are asked to always be there is of the utmost importance and we have a duty to look out for those who look out for us.
